Mike Hoag has been working with the ROTU team for nearly (3) years handling the bulk of the technical work of producing VR experiences for Unreal Engine 4. He leads the development and implementation of core systems, and works on materials, environments, visual effects and creature rigging. He is a prolific tutorial creator, and also destroys all contenders in frequent internal Photoshop competitions where we blow some steam by picking on each other. Mike has been working on game development as a hobby for over (20) years, and was a lead developer for Sol Contingency (a 6-DOF multiplayer space shooter similar to Descent) and Battlefield Pirates 2 (a full conversion mod for Battlefield 2). He currently lives in Atlanta, GA.
Born in Baltimore Maryland, Francis has traveled the world and uses these life experiences to aid in his creative process.
He created Promethean Studio 1 in 2009, and has been blessed to do that which he loves since.
His work has most recently been featured on ESPN2 and the Disney Channel.
Francis came on board with ROTU in December 2018 filling the roll of 3D Generalist with and emphasis on Rigging and Animation.
